The sun finally popped for us and we got back out there and rode some of the best snow we've had out here yet. We got taken to an amazing zone late in the afternoon with more long spines stacked with tones of pillow features. To us it looked like the typical Alaskan spines we had been looking for and the afternoon light was insane. We spent the following day out at our mate George's, he has a bed a breakfast out at 18 Mile on a nice piece of land.

The down days definitely kept coming. We had about 6 days off I think, which isn't really too bad after hearing some of the down day horror stories out here. There doesn't seem to be a tone of stuff to do here in the winter if your not out board'n. We tried fishing but had no luck, just watched the locals reel them in first cast. We caught up with our favorite local native again and played some disk golf.
